Why is "Pwer Shift!" taking so long?

"It's been two years already and you have ONLY seven days of the script released!? And where's the animation at? What's taking you so looong?"

Calm down you, jeez. I haven't just been twiddling my thumbs these past couple of years.

So, 'Pwer shift!'s script, animation artwork and basically anything else I have announced is taking a long time due to one reason: studying.
Lots and lots of extensive studying. And I'm not even talking about studying for school.

One of the reasons I was able to come up with "Pwer Shift!" in the first place is because I've always had so~ much spare time after school(Well, that and because of a certain life event that nobody shall ever mention or bring up ever again...EVER AGAIN) ; and I spent that time mostly watching anime, just playing minecraft, or watching youtube, and just lying in my bed, thinking for hours upon end, gradually weaving together the story that would become "Pwer Shift!"

Before I knew it, "Pwer Shift!" kept growing and growing so much so that I couldn't stop building and building upon this epic project so spontaneously whisked up by an imaginative 15 year old. One day, I just took a step back and looked at the big picture of the monster of a story I had created and thought,"There's no way I'm going to be able to do this as I am now, no matter how good I think I am..."
This is where the studying begins.
Animation, sound design, story writing, psychology, art; I had no idea what most of these things were, and if I did, I have no way of knowing how or where to start. I had absolutely NO skills in these various areas both listed and not listed to make "Pwer Shift!" work.Since this realization a few years back, I saved up my money, bought a few programs, and began to search the internet or what ever book I could get my hands on and study what I thought I needed in order to make my story reality. To be honest, I might have learned more whilst studying for the sake of "Pwer Shift!" than I have in school.

Fast-forward to today; I'm 18 now and still trying to dedicate much of my time to "Pwer Shift!", trying to study to make it reality. However, I can do 90% of the things needed to bring my grand vision of "Pwer Shift!" to fruition but, unfortunetly,  "Pwer Shift!" has grown once again when I took my sights off of it for just a mere moment, and now I must increase my range of study to compensate for the growth. With my being 18, and soon having to face the 'reality of being thrust into the "real world"' whether I like it or not, and already deciding to have "Pwer Shift!" animated soon after its conception brought me to a realization that I want to do things like "Pwer Shift!" for the rest of my life, and I'm going to try my damnedest to form an animation business so  I can keep doing these things. And if I fall down and hit my face, nothing to do but to get back up and try again.
It's funny how this all started from a Minecraft mod and it's humble script beginnings as
"You come across a creeper girl lying upon the ground, her clothes ripped and caked in blood.
She looks to be near death.
Her wounds are too severe to say what had caused them. The only thing you know for sure is that she will die soon if you do not help her."
(Yes, that is an excerpt from the first version of the script for the first mob talker...)

And so, the sands of time keep moving, slowly revealing the things that are to come.

Welp, that's all I have to say for my first blog post. I hope this informs people as to why it's taking so long.
